The Tough Runner 5 toe socks from Mikasa are made of extremely durable cotton and extremely durable nylon. This makes the Tough Runner up to 8x more durable than conventional socks (this was tested and confirmed by an independent laboratory according to Japanese industry standards).
The heel cap and toe area are additionally reinforced, but the sock is thinner than comparable socks. “Anti-slip” zones are applied to the sole.
Due to the special composition of the textile, the material is moisture-permeable from the inside, which counteracts sweaty feet and the formation of odors.
