Description
Zaza means bamboo, which stands for growth and purity in Japanese lore. It’s also a symbol of luckiness.
This Katana Zaza however, is completely designed based on the bamboo plant. Bomboo motif is on Tsuba guard, on top of the handle and wooden Saya scabbard is also decorated with some white bamboo leaves.
Sharp blade of Katana Zaza is half-handmade of Carbon Steel with full Bo-hi groove and nice incorporated Hamon. Round Tsuba which doesn’t rub the hand when used. All decorations (Tsuba, Fuchi, Menuki, Kashira) are made from metal. Classical Hineri Maki handle wrapping with black cotton Tsuka-ito. Handle fixed on tang with bamboo pin. This sword can be used as a practice tool or as attractice decoration item.
