Traditional Tai Chi Fan made of steel ribbing and printed satin fabric for advanced training and exhibition. On blue satin is Yin Yang symbol and Taichi in chinese. Opened is approx. 64 cm wide. The sound made when opening it is much louder than with bamboo fans.
The Tai Chi fan, originally made of metal and with a sharp edge, is now mostly used as a complement of the Tai Chi, Kung Fu or Wu Shu for forms practice and drills or training weapon.
